In Mexico, cooperation between Sea Marconi and local partner " Energy Solution SA DE CV" (ENGS), a subsidiary of the NIETO group and major operator in Mexico's oil and gas sector, is enjoying great success.
In 2014, the Sea Marconi process for the treatment of oils and transformers contaminated by PCBs, was successfully validated. The activity was performed in Torreón on a 33,000 kg oil transformer in on-load mode for the entire duration of the treatment.
The transformer belongs to Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE ), which not only provided a positive verdict on the performance of the process, but also understood and appreciated the potential of Sea Marconi systems for integrated treatments. This terminology implies the possibility to "sanitise" numerous critical oil and transformer problems using the same unit of treatment.

Sea Marconi's latest generation Mobile Decontamination Units (MDUs), including the one used in Mexico, are able to resolve, for example, both critical issues connected with PCB contamination and those related to corrosive sulfur or oil acidity (a symptom of aging).
