We are particularly proud to be able to recount another really positive update in the framework of the " PCB-Free Programme for Japan": the arrival of the first order for development of a system (MDU) for the dehalogenation of oils and transformers contaminated by PCBs

To completely understand the extraordinary nature of this news, it is necessary to take a look at the previous "episodes".

Very briefly. Sea Marconi welcomed the challenges from the Japanese public and private sectors: first and foremost, laboratory detection of infinitesimal contaminations by PCBs in oil (never before detected), subsequently pushing Sea Marconi's technology to the maximum with the aim of decontaminating oil up to PCB < 0,5 mg/>g

Today we can be proud of having achieved both objectives. Our laboratory has confirmed itself as an extraordinary international benchmark, and Sea Marconi's technology of decontamination of PCBs, CDP Process + MDU, has been officially validated by the Japanese authorities.

To satisfy the demands of the client, Sea Marconi performed an enormous job of redesigning its decontamination units (MDUs), to the point of defining a completely new technological concept. In concrete terms, this means lower weight and smaller dimensions, optimised fluid schemes, improved performance and optimised use of materials, which translates into improved performance, reduced impact of logistics, faster treatments and therefore an undeniable advantage for the end user.

The development of the first system for Japan is without a doubt an extraordinary milestone, but we know it is just the beginning of a difficult path, which will nonetheless provide us with enormous satisfaction.
